Biography of Léon Boëllmann
Boëllmann, Léon. Studied at the Ecole Niedermeyer under Eugène Gigout. Organist at St. Vincent de Pauls’, Paris, 1881. Composed a symphony, chamber music, organ pieces, &c. b. Ensisheim, Alsace, France, Sep. 25th, 1862; d. Paris, Oct. 11th, 1897.
