Falla, Manuel de. Studied at the Madrid Conservatory under Tragó (piano) and Pedrell (composition); pupil of Dukas and Debussy. Composed operas, ballets, &c. b. Cadiz, Spain, Nov. 23rd, 1876; d. Alta Gracia, Argentina, Nov. 14th, 1946.
