Biography of Ernest Bristow Farrar

Farrar, Ernest Bristow. Studied at Leeds Grammar School; the Royal College of Music, London, under Sir Charles V. Stanford, Parratt and Sir Hubert H. Parry. Organist of the English Church, Dresden, Germany; St. Hilda’s, South Shields, England; Christ Church, Harrogate. Composed orchestral, piano and organ pieces, &c. b. Blackheath, England, July 7th, 1885; d. Epéhy Roussoy, France, Sep. 18th, 1918 (killed in action).
