Marchant, Dr Arthur William. Mus.D. (Oxon, 1898), F.R.C.O. Organist of St. John’s College, Mansfield, 1870-77; St. Luke’s, Kentish Town, London, 1878-80; Denver Cathedral, Colorado, U.S.A., 1880-82; Sevenoaks Parish Church, 1882-89; All Saints’ Parish Church, Huntingdon, 1889-95; St. John’s Episcopal, Dumfries, 1895-1901; Holy Trinity Episcopal, Stirling, 1901-21. Composed church music, piano and organ pieces, &c. b. Lambeth, London, England, 1850; d. 1921.
