Marks, Archibald Sidney. A.R.C.O. Studied at the North East London Institute of Music. Organist of St. Stephen’s, Haggerston, 1890-97; St. Bartholomews, Bethnal Green, London, 1897-1909; St. Thomas’, Clapton Common, London, 1909-18; St. Mary’s, East Grinstead, 1913-14; St. Alban-the-Martyr, Holborn, London, 1918-19; St. Thomas’, Clapton Common, 1919-. Music publisher. Father of Cyril A. Marks. b. Bethnal Green, London, England, 1871; d. near Thanet, c1932.
