Biography of Julius Reubke

Reubke, Friedeich Julius. Studied in Quedlinburg with Hermann Bönicke; pupil of Theodor Kullak (piano), Dr Adolph Bernhard Marx (composition) and Franz Liszt. Composed an organ sonata, a piano sonata, songs, &c. Son of Adolf Reubke; brother of Emil Reubke and Otto Reubke. b. Hausneindorf, near Quedlinburg, Germany, Mar. 23rd, 1834; d. Pillnitz, Dresden, June 3rd, 1858.
