Conducted the Société de Chant Sacré; professor of organ and composition at the Geneva Conservatory. Composed cantatas, psalms, chamber music, organ pieces, choruses, &c. b. Scanfs, Engadine, Switzerland, Mar. 22nd, 1860; d. Geneva, Switzerland, Dec. 19th, 1943.
