Biography of H. FarjeonFarjeon, Harry. A.R.C.M. (1902). Pupil of Landon Ronald and Dr John Storer; studied at the Royal Academy of Music, London, 1895-1901, under Frederick Corder (composition), Haynes_Battison_1859~ (composition) and Septimus Webbe (piano); gained the Goring Thomas Scholarship. Lived in England since he was eight weeks old. Professor at the Blackheath Conservatory, 1902; professor od composition at the Royal Academy of Music, London, 1903-; a founder of the Society of British Composers. Composed a mass, concertos, chamber music, piano pieces, songs, &c. b. Hohokus, New Jersey, U.S.A., May 6th, 1878; d. Hampstead, London, England, Dec. 29th, 1948.
