Horner, Burnham William. Pupil of Dr E. J. Hopkins, Franklin Taylor and Ciabatta. Organist of St. Mary’s, Mortlake, London, 1863-67; assistant organist of the Chapel Royal, Hampton Court, 1867-74; Holy Trinity, Richmond-upon-Thames, 1874-93; St. Luke’s, Redcliffe Square, South Kensington, London, 1893-. Music critic to the “Morning Post”. b. Luton, England, 1848; d. Parkstone, Mar. 25th, 1928.
