Biography of Horace Wadham NichollNicholl (né Nicholls), Horace Wadham (Wadhams). Pupil of Samuel Prince (organ). Organist in Dudley, 1867-70; in Stoke-on-Trent, 1868-70; of St. Paul’s Cathedral, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S.A., 1870; the Presbyterian Church, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; of St. Mark’s, New York City, 1878-80. Editor in New York, U.S.A., 1878; taught in Farmington, Connecticut, 1888-95. Moved to the U.S.A., 1871. Composed oratorios, tone-poems, symphonies, concertos, piano and organ pieces, songs, &c. b.
